The link between Man & God is FAITH

Really worth reading...
Awesome Conversation (Must Read) Don't miss even a single word... Too good

An atheist professor of philosophy speaks to his class on the problem science has with God, The Almighty. He asks one of his new students to stand and.....
Prof:
-So you believe in God?
Student:
-Absolutely, sir.
Prof
: -Is God good?
Student:
-Sure.
Prof:
-Is God all-powerful?
Student
: -Yes.
Prof:
-My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God didn't. How is this God good then? Hmm?

Prof:-You can't answer, can you? Let's start again, young fellow Is God well?
Student:
-Yes.
Prof:
-Is Satan good?
Student
: - No.
Prof:
-Where does Satan come from?
Student:
-From...God....
Prof:
-That's right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?
Student:
-Yes.
Prof:
-Evil is everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything. Correct?
Student:
-Yes.
Prof:
-So who created evil?

(Student does not answer.)

Prof:
-Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things exist in the world, don't they?
Student:
-Yes, sir.
Prof:
-So, who created them?

Prof:-Science says you have 5 senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Tell me, son...Have you ever
seen God?
Student:
-No, sir.

Prof:
-Tell us if you have ever heard your God?
Student:
-No, sir.

Prof:
-Have you ever felt your God, tasted your God, smelt your God? Have you ever had any sensory perception of God for that matter?
Student:
-No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't.

Prof:
-Yet you still believe in Him?
Student:
-Yes.

Prof:
-According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your GOD doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?
Student:
-Nothing. I only have my faith.

Prof:
-Yes. Faith. And that is the problem science has.
Student:
-Professor, is there such a thing as heat?

Prof:
-Yes.
Student:
-And is there such a thing as cold?

Prof:
-Yes.
Student:
-No sir. There isn't.

(The lecture theatre becomes very quiet with this turn of events.)

Student
-: Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat. But we don't have anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that.
There is no such thing as cold
. Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it. (There is pin-drop silence in the lecture theatre.)

Student:
-What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?
Prof:
-Yes. What is night if there isn't darkness?
Student:
-You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light....But if you have no light constantly, you have nothing and its called darkness, isn't it? In reality, darkness isn't. If it were you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn't you?

Prof:
-So what is the point you are making, young man?
Student:
-Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.

Prof:
-Flawed? Can you explain how?
Student:
-Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can't even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it.
Now tell me, Professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?

Prof:
-If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.
Student:
-Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?

Student:-Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher? (The class is in uproar.)
Student:
-Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor's brain?
(The class breaks out into laughter.)
Student
: - Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor's brain, felt it, touched or smelt it? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, sir. With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?

Prof:-I guess you'll have to take them on faith, son.
Student:
-That is it sir....
The link between man & god is FAITH . That is all that keeps things moving & alive.

A winner is the one who never QUITS

One of the Best Email I got

When Thomas Edison invented the light bulb, he tried over 2000 eperiments before he got it to work. A young reporter asked him how it felt to fail so many times. He said, "I never failed once. I invented the light bulb. It just happened to be a 2000-step process."

Wilma Rudolph was the 20th of 22 children. She was born prematurely and her survival was doubtful. When she was 4 years old, she contacted double pneumonia and scarlet fever, which left her with a paralysed left leg. At age 9, she removed the metal leg brace she had been dependent on and began to walk without it. By 13 she had developed a rhythmicwalk, which doctors said was a miracle. That same year she decided to become a runner. She entered a race and came in last. For the next few years every race she entered, she came in last. Everyone told her to quit, but she kept on running. One day she actually won a race. And then another. From then on she won every race she entered. Eventually this little girl, who was told she would never walk again, went on to win three Olympic gold medals.

In 1962, four nervous young musicians played their first record audition for the executives of the Decca recording Company. The executives were not impressed. While turning down this group of musicians, one executive said, "We don't like their sound.Groups of guitars are on the way out."The group was called "The Beatles".

In 1954, Jimmy Denny, manager of the Grand Ole Opry, Fired a singer after one performance. He told him, "You ain't goin' nowhere....son. You ought to go back to driving' a truck."He went on to become the most popular singer in America named Elvis Presley.

Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone in 1876, After making a demonstration call, President Rutherford Hayes said, "That's an amazing invention, but who would ever want to use one of them?"

In the 1940s, another young inventor named Chester Carlson took his idea to 20 corporations, including some of the biggest in America. They all turned him down. In 1947 - after seven long years of rejections! He finally got a tiny company in Rochester, New York, the Haloid company, to purchase the rights to his invention an electrostatic paper-copying process. Haloid became Xerox Corporation we know today.

The Moral of the above Stories

Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experiences of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired and success achieved. You gain strength, experience and confidence by every single experience where you really stop to look fear in the face.... You must do the thing you cannot do. And remember, the finest steel gets sent through the hottest furnace.

A winner is not one who never fails, but one who NEVER QUITS!

People who make a difference in your life are the ones who care

Charles Schultz Philosophy

You don't have to actually answer the questions.

1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.

2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.

3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America Contest.

4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize.

5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winners for best actor and

actress.

6. Name the last decade's worth of World Series winners.

How did you do?

The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday. They are

not second-rate achievers. They are the best in their fields. But the

applause dies. Awards tarnish. Achievements are forgotten. Accolades and

certificates are buried with their owners.

Here's another quiz. See how you do on this one:

1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school.

2.. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time.

3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile.

4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and special.

5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with.

Easier?

The lesson: The people who make a difference in your life are NOT the ones

with the most credentials, the most money, or the most awards. They are

the ones who care.

USE FAILURE FOR SUCCESS

Most of us think that passion being " SOMETHING UNCONTROLLABLE "

"You either have it or you don't have it."
It's like a lightning strike or winning a lottery.
It happens to the few and rest of us are out of luck.

But things are not like that, passion can be generated.
Now the question is how it can be generated?

For Example: Passion is directly proportional to the intensity towards your goal.
If intensity is 100 % then passion will be generated automatically & vice versa.

Now how we can use our failure for success:

"Failure is an essential part of success but only when you learn out of it or you learn from it."

How :

1) Keep a small note book with you.

2) Analyze your errors.

3) Note where your performance strayed from the Ideal.

4) Try and try again.

5) But it is possible that you might fail but keep on trying.

6) That's just one gets back to deep practice
to feel better but "FAIL BETTER" towards perfection.
